JOB TITLE:  Account Manager, Refinery & Industrial Processes


Our client requires an Account Manager, Refinery & Industrial Processes – Air Pollution Control Catalysts & Technology Sales, BSChE, 5+ yrs. Process/production/project engineering or technical sales experience in the refining or chemical industry to serve as the account manager on the air pollution abatement technologies applies by company industrial, refinery and power customers, provides sales and technical support to accounts, perform technical calculations, write proposals, and negotiate contract issues. 
The position will act as a liaison between the client and project manager providing support on correction curves, test reports, and basic engineering proposals and execution.  The position will support the Director, Business Development in providing conference coordination, writing and presenting technical papers, and assisting the service section with technical support. 
The Account Manager will be responsible for Air pollution control catalyst sales and providing technical service for customers in designated sales territory, responsible for air pollution control technology sales, develop professional relationship with personnel such as plant managers, process engineers and plant superintendents and make visits to the assigned customers on a frequency consistent with the potential business from the customer, identify the potential sales in her/her territory for budget purpose and planning purpose and be responsible for generating basic engineering and catalyst proposals using HTI templates with performance guarantees and pricing for both catalyst and technologies using HTAS modeling tools and company pricing criteria.
