JOB TITLE: Project Controls Manager

 

Our client requires a Project Controls Manager, BS in Engineering with a working knowledge of Primavera software and a minimum of 12 yrs experience in project cost and schedule control, including project experience in a chemical project/consulting environment supporting capital project execution whose responsibilities include the overall coast and schedule forecasting and control of all project tasks related to a new Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Glycol Plant being responsible for reporting on project process to management as required, designing, agreeing and implementing a project cost and cash forecasting process, suitable for tracking and controlling this significant investment in a new plant in Texas, bring together the accounting and IT teams and functionality, responsible for the transfer on to managing and operating the process in relation to all the project cost estimations, spending projections and cash flow forecasts, schedule planning and monitoring actually performance versus budgetary and scheduling targets, during the design, procurement and construction of the manufacturing facilities. 
The accountabilities will include:  develop project budget and track performance versus plan, develop project schedule and track performance versus plan, support the development of common project work processes and report procedures, intervene where necessary to prevent project cost and schedule from deviating from approved plan.
