FCC Team Lead

 

Our client requires an FCC Team Lead, PhDChE and familiarity with process simulation tools and 10+ yrs of refinery FCCs or other circulating catalyst reactors experience, 7+ yrs providing technical support to refineries or petrochemical plants, 5+ yrs direction experience with FCC or other circulating catalyst pilot plants to provide technical leadership to the experimental program, develop research projects based on input from operations, development of a technology design basis, assist in process designs and startups. 
The FCC Team Lead will assist in providing catalyst and process optimization support to the operating plants, interface with plant engineers to troubleshoot problems and communication findings from research, be a resource for plants, EPCs, and the technology organization on all issues related to the BFCC, lead efforts to convert research and commercial data into useful models/prediction tools that can be applied to plants, provide leadership to develop and promote best practices related to the work area.  The FCC Team Lead position required a broad understanding of the issues related to FCC, Biomass Pyrolysis, and Catalytic Deoxygenating.  A working knowledge of other refinery units, specifically Distillation, Hydrotreating, and Hydrocracking is desirable.
