Catalyst and Technology Sales Engineer

 

Our client requires a Catalyst and Technology Sales Engineer, BSChE required with 1-5 yrs experience process/production/project engineering or technical sales experience in the refining or chemical industry to provide technical service for customers in designated sales territory and provides technical support to the key account managers - responsible for selling catalyst and technology, and provides associates catalyst technical service for the industries served.  Individual will advise customers with catalyst loading, start up and other technical services at customer site, develops professional relationships with all customers and potential customers. 
The customers include many levels in the organization including plant manager, engineers and plant superintendent and will represent the company in a professional manner.  He/she will perform technical service to customers through data evaluation, inspections and catalyst sample analyses, prepare sales quotations based on customer’s request.  The proposals include SAP entry, GIPS calculations and/or in house develop kinetic modeling tools and PRO ll and review of customers’ terms and conditions.  Familiarity with catalytic operations will be beneficial.
